to the land of Gambling, Bright lights, Aliens, Prostitution, wide open cow infested roads and low fuel mileage. Nevada has it all and then some. How about twisty roads, the smell of sagebrush, pinion pine, bristlecone, caves and history dating back to the 1800’s. Huge open pit mining, and small towns where the people always have time to share a story or two. It's rally time in the west and I have cooked up a delightful combination to challenge your map reading and route finding skills. Gps you say, why not, but you won’t have to have one (It will make life easier but what do I know). Threads and combinations abound for you creative types. The calling of the old west must be heard. The weathers fine come out and wear off some tire tread at the first of many, Nevada 1099. The Rally will be 25 hrs in length and headquartered at one of Sparks finest hotels. (The better half will thank you for). Photo opportunities abound, but only the old reliable Polaroid pictures will be allowed. Two checkin’s to keep you sharp and on time. Bonus points and reading skills will help you win this rally but be careful of the lawman of the west. Why heck I’ll even give you a paper Nevada map and waypoints to be downloaded on your GPS just to make it fair. There will be a meet and greet with food provided to cure those hunger pangs on Friday evening. But my rally friends beware of the shill because this is Nevada and not all things are as easy as they seem.
